The Nikon 10.5cm (105mm) f2.5 Nikkor is one of the original lenses first introduced in the late 1950s with the Nikon F. It is a compact portrait or telephoto lens known for excellent image definition. It has an optical design consisting of five elements in three groups with an angle of view of 23 degrees. Early versions of this lens had a minimum aperture of f22, while later updates have a minimum of f32. The lens uses a 52mm filter thread, making it consistent with most other Nikon manual focus lenses.
This lens has the Non-AI variant of the Nikon F lens mount and is best suited for early Nikon SLR cameras such as the Nikon F and early Nikkormats. It should not be paired with a later Nikon camera designed for AI lenses.
